| Countries |
The number of visiting countries has moved up from 66 to 70 since June
2004 with the addition of Estonia, Pakistan, Slovakia and the South
Pacific islands of Tuvalu.
If you are into anoraks, you might be interested to know that only 3 letters of the alphabet are not represented in the initial letters of
our visiting countries. Those are Q, V and X. So, we need someone from
Qatar, Venezuela and X????. Mind you, we have had a visit from Christmas Island..... but can we
call it Xmas Island?

| The
Top Ten
|
|
The top ten locations appear to be as follows:
| Australia |
| Canada |
| United States |
| New Zealand |
| France |
| Germany |
| Belgium |
| Netherlands |
| Poland |
| Ireland |
Poland has replaced Austria in the list. The top European locations include our
closest geographical neighbours (France, Belgium, Netherlands) and
Germany (with whom we have "Twin Town" links). Surprisingly,
Spain and Portugal do not appear despite the fact that these are popular
destinations for British emigrants.
In the Far East, Japan continues to lead the way.... ahead of
Malaysia and Singapore.
Not surprisingly, most visits from the African continent originate from South
Africa.
In the Middle East, the majority of hits have come from United Arab
Emirates and Saudi Arabia.
We have had very few visits from South America. These have come
primarily from Brazil but we have also been visited from Argentina,
Chile and
Peru.
Among the more exotic locations, we include The Bahamas, The Cayman
Islands, Hawaii, Niue, Tuvalu, Taiwan, Bermuda, Mexico and Hong Kong .

We suspect that there have been hits from many other

| Visits from Australia
|
|
We have received hits from the five main cities:
| Adelaide, South Australia |
| Melbourne, Victoria |
| Perth, Western Australia |
| Brisbane, Queensland |
| Sydney, New South Wales |
Most hits appear to come from Victoria and Western Australia with New
South Wales in third place.
|
|
|
| Visits from
Canada
|
|
Confirmed visits from Canada have come from six regions:
| British Columbia |
| Ontario |
| Nova Scotia |

Most hits come from Ontario with British Columbia in second place.

| Visits from
the Academic and Other World's
|
|
One very pleasing aspect has been the interest shown from colleges
and universities. This has included some of the most famous academic
institutions in world.... such as Cambridge, Oxford, Stanford and
Harvard. As yet no Yale! We also get many hits from local schools,
colleges and, of course, the University of Kent at Canterbury.
Other hits have come from the US Military (.mil), US Government (.gov),
the European Commission, the Houses of Parliament, UK government, local authorities and many
international companies including top IT, aircraft and chemical firms.
We also seem to get regular visits from firms of barristers, solicitors
and consultants... and we charge them £70 an hour plus expenses!
